We rely on the proven results of our field experience to
accelerate the process of identifying and evaluating
alternatives and implementing cost effective solutions. We apply
commercially available and proven water treatment technologies
to many difficult and diverse water problems. Our engineered
solutions have been utilized to reclaim water and other valuable
process resources, reduce operating costs, expand plant
production capacity, and assist with environmental regulations
compliance.
There is no better way of ensuring
that a specific system is able to
perform in your application.

Never before has more corporate emphasis been placed on
implementing timely solutions to water treatment and resource
recovery needs. The commitment to maximizing corporate return on
investment demands that testing studies and identification of
process solutions be conducted efficiently and quickly.
SAMCO mobile pilot test trailers and systems are designed to
allow testing of a variety of processes, depending upon the
requirements of the waste stream and the client. These rental
units are installed with all necessary instrumentation and
controls for operations. A 3 - 5 GPM side stream of
representative water is typically treated to confirm conceptual
design and develop operational and maintenance data. Pilot study
tests are generally conducted for 1 - 6 weeks, depending on
variability of the process stream. Any changes in the water
stream consistency that might affect treatment need to be
identified during this stage.
SAMCO’s approach is to work closely with each client to
identify potential solutions by evaluating various technologies,
developing innovative client-specific treatment approaches,
demonstrating and quantifying technologies, reviewing associated
value and recommending full-scale system options.

Feasibility Studies
SAMCO can assist our clients with a comprehensive evaluation of
process requirements. The process begins with a clear definition
of the project objectives, followed by an engineering site
evaluation during which all pertinent data and information is
collected for future analysis. The core of the study will
address the viability of and a comparison to competing
technologies and unit processes, and an estimation of capital
and operating costs.
As part of any initial project planning activity, SAMCO
proactively collaborates with local authorities and review
boards with or on behalf of its client. SAMCO typically works
closely with strategic project partners who bring knowledge of
national, state, and local environmental regulations and
regulatory procedures. By addressing site and project specific
issues in a timely manner, close communication with regulatory
authorities has proven effective in securing appropriate
permits.
